Learn with Early Stages!

We provide an overview of special education, including special education law, the referral and evaluation process, parent/guardian rights, and important special education terminology.

This parent workshop is presented by Karen Wright.

Early Stages is an evaluation center that works with families to identify and address developmental delays and disabilities in children aged 2 years 8 months to 5 years 10 months. A program of DC Public Schools (DCPS), we provide evaluations for DC residents who have not yet entered the school system or are currently homeschooled. Early Stages also serves families residing outside of DC if their children attend a private school or DC childcare center. All our services are completely FREE.
