In this parent workshop, we discuss all things sleep! We start with facts about sleep, including what typical sleep looks like and why it’s important. We then move into a discussion about how to set the stage for healthy sleep, including learning about the “sleep window” and creating a consistent bedtime routine. Finally, we provide information on sleep challenges and how to address them, including when to seek professional help.
This parent workshop is presented by Lashawn Richardson.
Early Stages is an evaluation center that works with families to identify and address developmental delays and disabilities in children aged 2 years 8 months to 5 years 10 months. A program of DC Public Schools (DCPS), we provide evaluations for DC residents who have not yet entered the school system or are currently homeschooled. Early Stages also serves families residing outside of DC if their children attend a private school or DC childcare center. All our services are completely FREE.
