Join us online on Saturday, August 16, 2025, for our Family Empowerment Series training “Introduction to the Special Education Eligibility Process.”

In this session, we will guide community members through the initial stages of special education, which can sometimes seem overwhelming and complex.

We will cover important topics such as

• Referral (the beginning of the process and how it all starts),
• Evaluation (how children are assessed for disabilities),
• Eligibility (how to qualify for special education and what happens if they are ineligible), and
• Special Education Services (all about Individualized Education Plans).
