Human Trafficking Prevention Month, observed every January, is a designated time to raise public awareness about human trafficking, educate people on how to spot and prevent it.
Families & Youth in Transition Program
Every DCPS school has a McKinney-Vento Liaison who supports students who are displaced. The liaison can assist students and families with transportation assistance, school uniforms, school supplies and provide information regarding in-school or community-based resources.
