As a school psychologist or social worker with DC Public Schools, you will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate educators, administrators, and community members who are dedicated to student success. You will be an integral part of a team that supports the behavioral, emotional, and social needs of students, and you will help ensure that they have the resources they need to thrive.

In this role, you will work with students, families, and school staff members to identify and address issues that may be impacting student success. You will provide counseling, support, and resources to students who are struggling with mental health concerns, social issues, or other challenges that may be affecting their ability to learn and succeed. You will also work with teachers and other school staff members to develop interventions and strategies that can help students overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
